Police Station Now the 'Justice Center'

Fairhope, Alabama

Today

The police station on N. Section Street has been re-named the Justice Center; municipal court offices were relocated there to free up space in city hall and bring them closer to inmates.

There is still a shortage of space in both locations according to the mayor; both services were located there at times in the past.

AND as one entered the phone is the requirement to make an appointment to speak with an officer, if your important enough to file a complaint it it's not deemed a civil matter. We used to have a dept that involved the community, now it seems to be by appointment only.
