According to sources at city hall, there will be no additions to the list of applicants to be interviewed for police chief: the four names previously announced are final. Adding a fifth candidate "from Alabama, but not Baldwin County" was considered but not agreed to by the majority of council members.
The dates for interviews should be announced soon and the final selection may be made in a specially called council meeting soon thereafter according to the source.
