Library Repairs Begin

Fairhope, Alabama

WATER DAMAGE

After years of study, discussion, and delay repairs to the library's exterior envelope began today.

The biggest part of the $1.1 million project will be fixing the leaking roof and atrium windows.

Well if it had been built right in the first place it wouldn't need the extensive repairs.

Why is the City not sending the bill to Walcott & Adams . They designed this monstrosity.

The past, I repeat past administration had by law 2 years to do anything against the designers or contractors, they choose not to.

Take them to court & they will settle . Lots of laws on the books but what would the judge or jury say ?

I'm sure the city has gotten legal opinions on their options and know how futile and waste of money it would be at this point in time.
