The Eastern Shore Art Center's Grand Festival of Art will be held on the streets of downtown Fairhope this year--Oct. 17th and 18th--instead of the usual South Beach Park near the pier. According to an Art Center spokesperson, the artists' vehicles had caused some damage to underground sprinklers in the park, precipitating the move.
Before that, for many years the show was located at the Grand Hotel (before its expansion).
