Crews were out Satuday morning removing a mature oak tree from the right of way on Fairhope Ave.-- near where a new courthouse driveway is being constructed.
At an earlier Fairhope Planning Commission Meeting--with the District's County Commissioner and Building Engineers present--Chairman Jean Wilson warned: "If that tree comes down, it could be World War III around here."
