More Fly Creek Noise Problems Reported

Fairhope, Alabama

ACCORDING TO  COUNCILMAN FORD

At the last council meeting, Councilman Ford said he had received more complaints about loud (bass) music at the Fly Creek Cafe, particularly on Sundays. Ford said the complainers had not called police because they thought police decibel meters would not pick up low bass sounds; but was told by police and other council members they do.

Ford: "I received some complaints from the people who live down there ... it was very loud this past Sunday and the Sunday before that."

Oh for goodness sakes - get over it.
Let's spend even more time on noise and wacky street painting.

VOTE THESE MORONS OUT.

I like the street markings. It makes walking safer. Low frequency bass sound is diffcult to control because it passes through the ground.

The new markings make driving more dangerous...not sure you can prove it makes walking safer though.

But then again, it's just paint

Doesn't matter how slow you drive when grandpa is driving down the center of the road on Bancroft...

So right! So many people don't know how to drive unless they aim right in the middle of two lines. Of course, this doesn't have anything to do with noise levels, but still have to comment on these stupid street markings.

So the City of Fairhope can hire the same very talented musicians to play on the Bluff for a FREE concert, but a business is "TOO loud" when they do the same? A business that is a revenue generating ambassador for the community. This was also Arts & Crafts weekend, where our city hosted 300,000 people to show off our southern hospitality.

Mike Ford needs to get a real job. I'm thinking he would make a terrific greeter at Walmart. He can stand around and whine with a bunch of old people.

Haha. This guy thinks our 'bass' is too loud. This is the same man who has once before personally told me how much he enjoys our music (DURING a FIRST FRIDAY ARTWALK). Yes, we all know that latin jazz bass is just so boooooming. haha. Please email: mikefordrealtycompany@msn.com to let him know if you enjoyed our concert. Hundreds of people in attendance that night....thanks! Fly Creek Cafe Bar & Marina - Fairhope Alabama, Turn It Up, Fairhope
