The Fairhope-based Children of the World adoption organization staged their annual Chinese New Year parade yesterday, beginning at the Methodist church.
The organization provides relief to and seeks parents for orphan children from around the world.
Well-known downtown residents Bob and Ellen Gentle looked on enthusiastically with their dog.
It was the seventh parade held this month, according to police officers.
