Why would the library be closed instead of patrons ordering books and picking them up on side walk ? This decision did not serve the people of Fairhope well. The present administration of this beautiful building basically decided to stay home while many other services [Police-Pharmacies-Trash collection-Grocery stores] continued to service locals from safe distance . Shame on whoever came with this lazy decision.

We are trying to find out where and when the library board met; although not a part of the city it is subject to state open meeting laws too.

I agree that the library can do at least something assuming the staff is still being paid. Perhaps they could allow a modest number of people in and move them out if there gets to be a big wait. Something beats nothing and I guess a lot of people actually know what hey want to check out. This does bring up the question of whether or not there are any city worker layoffs. If they are being paid they should be doing something constructive.
