Ladd's last meeting.

 

GEORGE LADD

Thursday was public works director George Ladd's last city council meeting; he is moving his family to Dayton, Tennessee to become city manager there beginning Jan. 5.

Ladd was assistant PW director for several years before moving up in 2023. He is a 1998 graduate of Fairhope High School.

Current assistant PW director John Thomas will assume the PW director's role in Fairhope for now.

Fairhope Hoping, this is one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever seen. The City of Fairhope is one of the most well kept municipalities in the entire country. Its citizens are beyond spoiled with the beautiful town they have. If you don’t understand that, take a drive through rural America.
