City Gets Deed to History Museum

Fairhope, Alabama

Mike Arnold of the Single Tax Corporation presented the deed for the Museum of History to the Mayor and City Council recently.

The deed had been transferred to the STC about 2 years ago so it could finance improvements there.

Arnold: "We work with the city hand in hand on various projects ... (I'm) here tonight to give you the deed to the museum ... you gave it back to us a couple of years ago ... we've spent a couple of bucks up there ... pleased to give the deed back to the city ... ."

That should read "glad" I could help, that is with my exuberant single tax rent. Yes, I definitely want to go. Always thought Donnie Barrett was such a good story teller and so knowledgeable.

no one is required to live in Fairhope--if you don't want to be a part of the single tax colony you should move. Fairhope has been a single tax colony since 1894, well before you decided to live in Fairhope, no doubt!
