Courthouse Expansion Plans Revealed

The County Commission will consider adopting "Scheme A1" for the planned Fairhope Satellite Courthouse expansion-- at its regularly scheduled meeting in Bay Minette tomorrow (8:30AM). A portion of the adjacent property to the west was purchased recently for $901,680, according to county records and will be used for parking. Click on the drawing to enlarge. Fairhope Ave is in the foregound or at bottom.

uh, oh. last summer we were told the county had to buy a sliver of Fairhope Realtor/politician Ford's property on the corner there (for almost 3 times appraised value), because no more land was available in the area for parking. wish they'd get there stories straight.
