Satellite Courthouse Expansion Plans

The County Commission accepted the architect's (Jeff Hudson) proposed Master Plan for the expansion of the Fairhope Satellite Courthouse without discussion (Item E11 of the "Consent Agenda") at it's Dec. 16th meeting. No construction schedule has been released. A little over one acre of adjacent land--on the west side-- was purchased (Corte) for the expansion for $901,680 according to the documentation provided. click on the photo and document to enlarge

why dont they just move the main courthouse down to the population center (Robertsdale?) and stop messing with all these little ones everywhere. doesnt make good sense.

that whole thing doesn't pass the smell test--keeps changing, bigger & more expensive.
