Additional Fire Truck Requested

The Fairhope Fire Dept. is requesting another fire truck for it's new station. Chief John Saraceno says the station is now in the design phase-- and will eventually be located somewhere in the north part of town. The new truck will be needed some time "next year" at a cost to the City of about $400,000, according to Saraceno.

a city sales tax would finally make those living outside the city limits (Pt. Clear, etc)-- who now get free police and fire-- finally start paying their fair share!
