According to ADECA (Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs) the Bruno's supermarket in the Plantation Pointe Shopping Center on Greeno Rd. will be closing May 17, 2009--unless a buyer can be found for the store before then. The nearby Foodword--also owned by Bruno's-- has already closed. Birmingham based Bruno's Inc. declared bankruptcy earlier this year.
