At the Jun. 8th Council meeting, Councilman Kingrea asked the Mayor/Staff to explain "why the city has started charging the library for changing light bulbs." According to Kingrea and the Library Director--the Library Board recently received a $618 bill (on city letterhead) for changing twelve, seventy watt fluorescent bulbs.
Councilman Stankoski said he was "amazed" the bill was sent at all-- as the city is responsible for maintaining all its own buildings.
Mayor Kant said he didn't know why the bill was sent either-- and promised to look into it.
