Neighbors Dispute Alleyway Naming

What to name the alleyway behind Magnolia St. (near Summit) became an issue when one resident (118 Magnolia Ave.) suggested naming it "Genivive" Lane, but another wants it called "Gaston" Lane-- after the adjacent old homestead of Fairhope Founder E.B. Gaston. A name is needed for "911 purposes" according to Council President Quinn. Co-Administrator Gregg Mims was asked to come up with a written, standard policy for naming streets before a decision could be made on which name to choose. .
