The annual Alabama Governor's Conference on Tourism will be held at the Grand Hotel in Pt. Clear from Aug. 29 -- Sept. 2nd, 2009.
"Magic on Main St." activities will commence at 6:30PM in downtown Fairhope the evening of Aug. 31st, to include an Art Walk, wine tasting, parade, fireworks and a tree lighting--according to press announcements. Part of Fairhope Ave. will be closed that evening for the festivities.
Musical entertainment will include Greg Brown, Eden Brown and John Reno. Also, author/restauranteur Lucy Buffet will be attending a book signing.
