Single Tax Corp. to Provide Some Sidewalk Funding

The Fairhope Single Tax Corporation has agreed to help finance ($30,000) some engineering services--not included in the county's federal grant application--for a sidewalk along CR44 (Twin Beech Rd.) from Boothe Rd. to CR13. The STC owns/maintains a park near CR13. The revenue comes from the yearly land lease payments of Colony residents ("demonstration fees"). According to the IRS, the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation.
