This site on CR 24 (about # 8445) south of town is being considered for a new sewage treatment plant--according to comments made at the last Council work session. The current plant (just north of city hall) is reportedly at about 60% capacity--and has no room for expansion. The cost for a new facility has been estimated to be about $14 million but probably won't be needed for 10-20 years (depending on population growth).
***Note: According to land records, this is still private property, not (yet) owned by the city (the sign is on private property as well).
