Local supporters of the proposed temporary 1 cent sales tax have announced an organizational meeting:
"There will be a grassroots organizational meeting on Thursday, Feb. 4th @ 6pm at the Fairhope Middle School. We are looking for people who will canvas neighborhoods, register voters, make phone calls, send e-mails, identify potential absentees, and etc. We have to get the word out to vote "yes" for the 1 cent sales tax. Please be present at this very important meeting! The children need your HELP!"
