New Bowling Alley Coming to Town?

A bowling alley is planning to locate in the vacant Ecor Rouge (aka "Food World") shopping center next year. A sports bar, restaurant and arcade are planned as well.

The property is currently owned by the Fairhope Group Llc. of Kingsland Ga.--according to public records.

The shopping mall has been vacant since Food World's parent company Bruno's went bankrupt about 2 years ago.

A small bowling alley operated for many years just to the south (near the Key West Inn)-- but also closed about 2 years ago.

What is a Lazer maze?

I am assuming it is an indoor lazer tag obstacle course. I have seen outdoor courses with different barricades and other things the players hide behind as they play lazer tag against one another.

I really like the idea of a recreational businesses and resturants at that location instead of another large retail store. Its a big location and can be chopped up into numerous smaller businesses, I would think they would be able to draw a lot of customers from Baldwin County with what they are planning.
