Final Disposition of BP Oil Boom and Recovery Money Still Unclear

City Administrator Mims said that the city has not yet sold its oil containment boom and the fate of almost $500,000 the city got from BP for cleanup purposes remains uncertain (Governor's decision).





A Coastal Recovery Commission (website) was recently formed by the Governor to assess what else is needed to restore Baldwin County communities. Their final report is due Dec. 15th.

Rather have more ball fields than trying to start a school system or investing in more programs at the Nix Center, at least everyone is welcome at the ball fields!
