Progress Reported on Bishop Road Extension/Volanta Sidewalk

Council member Quinn said survey work is being done on the proposed connection of Bishop to Boothe Roads (just southeast of Winn Dixie) and a grant request is being prepared for a long-awaited sidewalk along Volanta St. in the vicinity of the park (Section to Greeno).

Sidewalks are always at the bottom of the list for spending around here for some reason.

Good to hear a Volanta sidewalk, which is sorely needed, may finally come to fruition. Too many little used sidewalks around F'hope for heavily traveled Volanta not to have one.
