Pittman |
In a Feb. 4th letter, the
Alabama State Ethics Commission said it had concluded its investigation of
State Senator Pittman ("closing all files against Senator Pittman") concerning his company's (
Pittman Tractor) contracts with the cities of
Fairhope and
Perdido to deploy oil-protection-boom last summer while he was in charge of distributing the BP money designated for that purpose
No mention was made by the Commission of any other parties named in the original complaint by Fairhope-area resident
Paul Ripp.
In a letter released today,
Mr. Ripp expressed dis-satisfaction with the thoroughness of the
Commission's investigation--and hoped
Attorney General Strange would investigate the matter further.
Comments
Self righteousness is a just as big a charcter defect as alleged poor ethics, hope Mr Ripp keeps that in mind. In fact, there are several folks in town who could probably use that reminder as well.
