Termite Treatment Seminar Planned at Library

FORMOSAN TERMITES

A seminar and demonstration of treatment techniques for Formosan termites will be held this Thursday at the library from 9-Noon. Public Works Director Fidler said the program will be open to the public and a demonstration will be held at Bayview Park on an infected oak tree.

Fidler said Formosans are a big problem in New Orleans and can eat living wood, causing tree branches to break and fall off.
