Fairhope Trailblazer Passes Away

TEKO WISEMAN

Calling her a "visionary for the area," Counclimember Quinn lamented the recent death of Montrose resident Teko Wiseman: "... a huge loss for this community."

Quinn said Wiseman had been the driving force for  making the Eastern Shore Walking/Biking Trail a reality, and her husband Hollis -- who is also in poor health --  for constructing Fairhope's new public library.

BILL SHERIDAN TOO

Quinn said Bill Sheridan, who had served on city committees, had also passed away. She said he could frequently be observed riding his motorized wheelchair about town.

Quinn: "Two losses ... who were very involved in this community."
