Museum Director Named Citizen of the Quarter

Fairhope History Museum Director Donnie Barrett was named Fairhope's Citizen of the Quarter by  Police Citizens' Advisory Committee members.

Committee Chairman Mike Hutchinson called Barrett a "cornucopia of (historical) knowledge" and Police Chief Press said he is  "an exemplary ambassador for the city."

Barrett, a former school teacher said he particularly enjoys teaching/interacting with children who visit the museum; and enjoys his role there as a "public servant."
