More Fairhope Police Dept. Resignations Reported

Fairhope, Alabama

WERE FACING TERMINATION HEARINGS

According to a source at city hall, another police officer and a dispatcher have resigned, rather than appeal their terminations.

A third officer, Jeremy Anderson, has a termination appeal hearing scheduled with the department's review officer (Mobile Deputy Chief  James Barber) on March 27th.

Anderson is the last of 6 Police Dept. personnel facing possible termination since last summer.

The new Council Candidate Mike McPherson posted a picture of himself and Gilheart? He called Gilheart his "buddy". Look it up yourself at wholikesmike.com. Gilheart was forced to resign for lying in a police probe and starts fights at the Grand Hotel....oh yea and he was drunk!!!!! Does not sound like Mr. McPherson uses good judgement. He is buds with Kant, Ripp and Warner.....All the facts with these "resignations need to made public. They all go back to the current Mayor Kant.

If you are going to spot about all the facts being available, then do so yourself. What Gilheart was accused of lying about, was another police officer asked him about his opinion of the current leadership, when Gilheart was OFF-DUTY, OUT-OF-TOWN, Yes INTOXICATED, and his PERSONAL OPINION. The officer was recording it without his knowledge or permission, and did not remember saying anything when asked about it later.

The Chief and Asst. Chief already had this recording, so they knew the answer before they asked him if he said anything. God knows everyone that has ever gotten drunk remembers every detail about the evening, right?

Barber is a personal friend of Asst. Chief terry Sanders, and has had a run in with the Fairhope Police Dept. involving him being behind the barricade on North Beach with a woman, and being told to leave. So how unbiased do you really think he is going to be?

It's funny, have lived here all my life, and cannot recall any Chief of Police causing so much hatred in the community towards himself that it prompted signs advocating his removal, and organization of a march. And I have been in Fairhope a long, long, time.

WOW, finally someone here knows the truth! It will all eventually come out and everyone one will know that the Chief was behind every bit of Fairhope's turmoil, instigating and trying to stir the pot. And the Asst Chief Sanders is no better and should be ashamed to call himself a Christian. What a hypocrit. This has all been manipulated by Press and Sanders, right down to picking Barber, who is a friend of Sanders. The council should have chosen an unbiased person, not someone the chief has already contacted! How blind are you to not see this was all a set up! The officers never had a chance at a fair and UNBIASED hearing ...

The sad thing is, although a few of us know the truth, most people ar enot ready for the truth, and don't want to hear it when its spoken.

Most of your civilian population just want to go about their day, unconcerned about what is going on, unless it directly impacts their day to day living. And this is not just Fairhope, anyone that has been even remotely involved with any type of government agency knows that it goes on all the time.

But those of us that know the truth, at least try to spread it around, but as you can tell from most of the comments going against what spews out of the media, is immediatly accepetd as full and complete truth, with no alternative.
