MARCH HELICOPTER CRASH HELP
A spokesman for the Coast Guard thanked the Fire and Police Departments for their search and recovery help after one of their helicopters crashed into Mobile Bay off Mullet Pt. last March. None of the 3-person crew survived the crash.
"On behalf of the Coast Guard we'd like to present this to the Fire and Police Departments for the salvage and recovery efforts they afforded to us."
Police Chief Bill Press and Public Works Supervisor/fireman Ken Eslava received the citations.
