Fairhope, Alabama
Fairhope's newest police officer, Gregory Williams, was introduced to the city council recently. According to City Administrator Mims, Williams is a 2005 graduate of Fairhope High School and received a B.S degree with concentration in criminal justice from Louisiana College. In 2010, Williams was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the Army National Guard (military intelligence officer) -- and has previously been employed as a full time corrections officer with the city.
Mims: "We want to welcome officer Williams to the force."
Police Chief Press: " ... we are very proud of Mr. Williams ... looking forward to him going to the police academy in July ... then we'll have another successful officer working for us."
