Greeno Intersection Improvement Makes Progress

ADDED TURN LANE ON FAIRHOPE AVE.

At Monday's council meeting, the city council approved plans for a right turn lane for the east side of Fairhope Ave. at Greeno Rd. (tuning north). The project is expected to cost about $223,000, shared 50/50 with the state. The city's half will come from impact fee money available for transportation projects.




There may be some changes to the Ruby Tuesday driveway as well, according to City Administrator Mims.  Mims said earlier the city does not yet own enough right of way to install a (right) turn lane on the other (west) side of Greeno.
