Fairhope, Alabama
Fairhope Electric Department employee Greg McCoy has returned to work, according to Department Superintendent Scot Sligh. McCoy was severely injured last year when a brace supporting a high voltage line on Morphy Ave broke, causing the wire to fall upon his head and back.
Sligh said McCoy returned to work on March 6th, with "no restrictions."
At a council meeting last December honoring fellow workers who came to his aid, McCoy vowed he would return: "It may take a little time ... but I'll be back ... ."
