Fairhope, Alabama
'MAN O WAR' TATTOOS
The tattoo-art studio that caused a zoning controversy last summer when it located in a semi-residential neighborhood on Magnolia Ave. has moved about a block southeast to 319 1/2 Fairhope Ave.
Last July, the city delayed issuing owner Kevin Black a business license until the Board of Adjustments could decide whether such a use was permitted on Magnolia (The Board eventually decided it was -- click).
The new location is at the rear of the courtyard south of the Fairhope Courier building. Owner Black could not be reached for comments.
Update from Man O War: "Hi we just re-opened at our new location at 319 1/2 Fairhope Ave in the breezeway next to DragonFly Foodbar. We are open from 10ish to 7ish Tuesday through Saturday. Get tattooed today!"
