Rough Road to be Paved

Fairhope, Alabama

FAIRHOPE AVE. POT HOLES

The city council has approved $33,000 for repaving part of Fairhope Ave (in the vicinity of Ingleside Dr.) where sinkholes appeared after natural gas lines under the roadway were repaired.

Asphalt Services Inc. will be doing the work.

The holes are to be dug up and packed with gravel and sand -- and the east-bound lane re-paved.

Numerous complaints have been received regarding the rough road, according to council members.

why is it so hard to fix pot holes?

Because they spent the money they took from the City Employees cancelled dental program and the money they saved by not giving them a raise in over 5 years on FLOWERS, STRANGE LIGHT BULBS AND OTHER JUNK so there was nothing left to fix pot holes.
