In perfect weather, a large crowd turned out for the opening day of the annual Arts and Crafts Festival in downtown this morning.
Local TV star Darwin Singleton visited with WABF radio's remote broadcast near the Courier building; and the Hope Eternal Animal Shelter (click) was offering some small dogs for adoption on Bancroft Ave.
Rain is expected to move into the area by Sunday.
