Time For Flower Clock To Bloom

Fairhope, Alabama fairhopetimes@att.net

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TAKES EFFECT

Public Works will have to spring-ahead the flower clock early tomorrow as daylight savings time takes effect at 2AM.

The winter pansies were recently replaced with a red tulip/yellow and white pansy combination.

At last report, the letters to spell out 'Fairhope' and other improvements are to be added to the upper portion. Adding numbers to the dial is still under consideration.

The clock, a joint project between the city and Committee on Public Art, was installed last Fall.
