MUSEUM OF HISTORY

A tradition in the 1920s, a Satsuma Blossom Festival was held today at the Fairhope Museum of History on Section St.

Satsumas are a type of orange that were widely grown in the early 20th century.

Current Mrs. Alabama, Rebecca Suggs was on hand for the festivities and she helped select the winner of a bicycle-decorating contest.

NEW CIVIL WAR EXHIBIT

A new exhibit about the Civil War in Baldwin County has been completed on the second floor of the museum.
