Fairhope, Alabama
Hollywood film crews returned to the city's 451 Pecan St. warehouse to re-shoot some scenes from the horror movie that was filmed in and around Fairhope last Winter: they had used the building for several months then as well. (click).
Trevor Macy, manager of QNO Production South LLC., paid a flat fee of $2,500 to lease from Sept. 2 - 18th; anything past will be $200/day additional.
Directed by Mike Flanagan, Fairhope's own Scot Lumpkin was also a producer.
The movie is described as a "supernatural thriller about an orphaned child whose nightmares manifest themselves physically as he sleeps" stars Kate Bosworth (pictured) and Anabeth Gish.
A casting call was held for local "extras" before initial filming last year.
Release is scheduled for March of 2015.
