RECORDING STUDIO ON WHEELS
The John Lennon Educational Bus Tour made a stop at the Fairhope pier-park yesterday where local students and other organizations got a chance to learn about the recording industry using state-of-the-art digital equipment not available locally.
The tour is a non-profit outreach program established 18 years ago, endorsed by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, with the mission of "giving young people the chance to express themselves through music."
Nest stop for the bus is the high school in Clinton, Ms.
An African-themed music video was being filmed nearby, in the rose garden.
The Fairhope Film Festival invited them to stop here on their nationwide summer tour.
The Festival will be held November 12 - 15, 2015; see www.fairhopefilmfestival.org for tickets.
