"All the news that's fit to post" in Baldwin County, Alabama
the east side of town is being neglected by the city council.
That is the way it has always been .. , a low priority.
I don't know why people think this is sad. Fairhope has needed a laundry mat for years. When your washer goes out where do you plan to take your clothes until you can purchase another one or clean area rugs? Plus it may create a few jobs for those who need them
fairhope has a laundry mat
if you have ever actually been in a laundry mat it rarely employs anyone they usually run themselves and really just pads the pocket of the owner, maybe you are the one that is opening it . Not an ideal business to add value in my opinion
Where is there a laundromat in Farihope?
Winn Dixie parking lot
Nope, it's been gone for a long time.
I will have to check but I went there about a year ago, you could give the local drycleaners a try, I would do that with comforters and bedding I personally think laundry mats are gross
there is NOT a laundromat in Fairhope anymore! This is a sound business choice for a needed service. My washer went out on a Saturday, no appliance parts places open on Sunday and on-line purchase of part would take several days for delivery. So what to do with a load of wet partially washed clothes PLUS the other two ready to go...Whether you like it or not, this is needed and I'm GLAD to see it coming soon.
Yes, there is a laundromat in the Winn Dixie shopping center, It located in the old hunters location. Called the Fairhope Washboard.. All new management and all new Maytag equipment.
