Multi-use Watering Stations Coming?

Fairhope, Alabama.

The city's Pedestrian and Bicycle committee is asking that the city council provide funding for seven strategically-located water fountains around town -- similar to the one pictured.

Proposed general locations are:

* Foot of municipal pier
* Henry George Park
* Welcome Center
* Greers downtown
* American Legion
* Orange Street Pier

I think this is a good idea. The bad side, who is going to see that they are kept clean? You know how some low life's will destroy/vandalize, etc. anything left out to the public.

I think I will quit commenting here, as two of mine have not been published. No discriminating remarks, etc. Thought it was a good idea, just curious who will keep them clean as the riff raff runs around ruining everything good.

Same type of riff raff damaging the work being done at the soccer complex. Maybe not same type of people, but riff raff in general.
