Teams from several Gulf Coast states competed in the two-day tournament and some matches were held at Daphne's Trione Park as well.

NEW SOCCER COMPLEX UPDATE
Manley Road Soccer Complex

Nine new fields at the  Manley Road soccer complex under construction nearby are beginning to take shape: fields have finally been leveled (a major project), topsoil and sand are being laid, drainage and lighting poles for the parking lots installed.

Funding sources for the locker rooms, concessions stands and restrooms must still be found, but several sources are being pursued according to Bob Keyser of the city's Recreation Board.

A state grant to build a walking trail all the way around was not granted however, leaving that addition in doubt.

Weather permitting, the Manley Complex should be ready by May in time for Spring tournaments; but the Soccer Club is not planning on using it until the Fall of 2016, according to Keyser.
