The Tuscaloosa-based Capstone Bank(clk) has applied to the FDIC for permission to locate a branch office in the vacant, old Goodwill store in the Ecor Rouge shopping center on Greeno Rd. (next to the former Food World).
This would be their first branch outside of Tuscaloosa, Washington, or Clarke Counties, according to available web data.
Performance of branch offices in meeting local credit needs are factors considered by the FDIC, according to the legal notice.
