The city's Education Committee heard a presentation from the first potential consultant for a study of supplemental financing options for Fairhope-area schools last week: Company President Dr. Faron Holinger presented the team he assembled and each gave a brief presentation.
Holinger cited the "rich" experience of team members in dealing with complex Alabama school funding law and policies.
Current Baldwin County School superintendent Eddie Tyler and FEEF president Cori Yonge sat in on part of the meeting.
A second presentation will be made by the only other bidder, Florida-based Evergreen Solutions, this Wednesday at 4:30 in the library's Giddens room..
