Sod is finally being laid onto fields at the new soccer complex and asphalt to the parking lots; after a short discussion, the city's recreation committee voted to recommend the city council name the city's new soccer complex ... the Fairhope Soccer Complex.
The Fairhope Single Tax Corporation is expected to contribute another $550K towards construction of concession, locker room, and restroom facilities expected to cost about $1million.
The facility should be completed in time for Fall tournaments.
