There was a good turnout for the first day of the arts and crafts festival: the mayor and some council members got a birds-eye view courtesy of a Medstar helicopter, according to VFD sources.

The new mayor will declare this event causes to much stress on our infrastructure. NO, wait, this will help her sell more coffee...she'll be all in!
We were told by a fireman that happened ... he did not say which ones.

Had a good time on Friday, "after" finding a parking spot. Next time, please pass on more info on the ride share buses as to where & when to find them. Thank you.

Beautiful weekend so far. Even though I live right in the midst of it and it can be irritating with the traffic and parking - all in all pretty good. I do admit that the shuttle busses have taken alot of the toll off of our neighborhood parking.

Kudos to the city for a fabulous job this year!!! There were so many people but our lawns were not trampled upon, as they have been in the past, because of the excellent job done by the shuttles. This was a first class event without damage to homes/lawns b/c of the great work of the Arts & Crafts organizers……thanks and congratulations for you hard work. I don't know who is in charge but y'all do know who you are!!
