'NINTH GRADE ACADEMY' BUILDING PLANNED

To accommodate a coming "explosion" of ninth grade age students in the Fairhope school feeder pattern, the Baldwin County Board of Education awarded architectural design services to Adam Stewart Llc of Robertsdale for a new, 25 classroom, stand alone, 43,000 square foot building with a Science Lab and 'Career Technology' classroom.

Architectural fees are expected to be about 6.2% of the projected $6 million total cost; no timeline for construction was mentioned.

This is wonderful to see a new architect that might want to do a great job for a fair price! Mayor Wilson has set a new standard here that I hope will remain......who was the architect for the library?

Mayor Wilson has nothing to do with county schools.

The 3 mil tax being proposed is supposed to go to math/reading instruction.

If anyone thinks that the Mayor of a city were a new large development is to be built,(school). Is not involved at any level, they have never been in the political arena. Great job to Mayor Wilson for her support of a county impact fee.
