Shocking to think people lie to the Planning Comission! ;)

There is always something that can be done about it - VOTE.

It is concerning that the Editor believes that "dusting off this section" of the zoning ordinance is necessary. Are there no follow-up procedures in place to monitor/inspect approved projects. If a property owner has made a misrepresentation in the planning process, the City should not only revoke the prior zoning change but initiate litigation against the property owner. Haven't we seen enough of this improper conduct in Washington?

People see Trump lying all the time so they think it is ok for themselves to do it.

Can we limit our indulgence of Trump Derangement Syndrome to news stories that are remotely related to national politics, please?

Trump doesn’t lie?

Calm Down Nancy wins this round and I so agree! Keep your eyes on the ball here.

There was no “round”. Just pointing out the flaws in cdn’s logic. Lying is an effective and acceptable way to get what we want. Who cares?

Flaws in his logic? Let's look at your syllogism...
You Premises: 1)An editorial calls for developer accountability to better manage our growth. 2) Orange man bad.
Your Conclusion: Developers are blameless products of their times.
Huh?
From there, you proceed to ask, "Who cares?"
I answer, many of us care, and I further suggest that irrelevant, partisan ravings are a subtraction from a conversation that needs to be sober and focused. Another vote for, here, for Calm Down Nancy.

Calm down, Nancy. We’re playing politics. Anything goes.

Wait... are you for trump? Or, against lying? Personally, I’m against lying, I just have to speak out against hypocrisy anytime someone brings up TDS. It’s stupid. People should have to live up to their legal obligations.

Sounds like somebody has trouble with women in authority.
