ZETA STORM SURGE
The fishing pier was destroyed and some of the southern boardwalk damaged by hurricane Zeta, just as the Point Clear hotel was beginning to recover from hurricane Sally's visit a month before.
A notice on their website says that "all resort amenities are open ... except pier and boardwalk" and that roof repairs are underway for some buildings.
