Police Getting New Message Trailer

Fairhope, Alabama

New trailer purchased.

USING GRANT MONEY

The city council approved purchasing a new speed/message trailer for the police department for $21,400; since it may be used for pandemic information matters it qualifies for reimbursement under the federal CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act).

The device is made by MPH Industries in Kentucky. The police department currently has one speed-only indicator trailer.

"Who decides what to say on these things?"

What decision is there to make?

It's only a three-line trailer, which will only accommodate the first three lines of the message that bloggers here demand of local officials, the only message that they wish to see when they look out their basement windows:

COVID-19!
COVID-19!
COVID-19!
